Game Progress Update (Early 2022)
Null Faint Phantomra progress update.
Greetings everyone!
It's been a while since Null Faint Phantomra has been updated, roughly more than 5 months have passed since the game's concept build has been added to Itch.IO for everyone to test out.
Development has been going slower than expected, but the project is still alive.
I don't have much I want to show at the moment, but I'm pretty happy with the re-done combat system. It clearly still needs more work, but It's much better than before.
This isn't playable yet, just a preview, let me know if you'd like to play this specific build of the game.
The Attack sequence and Animations have been redone to feel less… One Button Hero-ish.
It is now possible to do a 3 hit attack combo, dodge and follow that up with a violent rebound. (X,X,X,LS,RT)(Xbox Input)
You can also slam your axe into the ground and cause a massive explosion. (Air, B,)
So it's all still rather janky and the AI is broken at the moment, but progress is still being made, and I hope to make this a fun game for all to enjoy when it's ready.
But yeah, due to life being…LIFE, I haven't been able to post many updates at all. An unfortunate side effect of being alive.
Expect more things to be shown and playable before the year is over, though.
Thanks for reading and looking at my latest update.
